The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of relaxation with dhikr to improve the quality of life (QoL) of women victims of landslide disaster. This research used quasi experimental design with one group
pretest – posttest design. Subjects in this study were 6 women with the criteria of women who experienced landslide disaster at the scene of the disaster, Muslim, and having middle to low QoL score. QoL of those
women were measured using WHOQOL-BREF scale (before and after the relaxation). Qualitative data analysis was obtained from the observation, interview, worksheet, and evaluation sheet. The data were analyzed by paired sample t-test, the result of mean pre-test was 52.6 and mean post-test was 100. While t value equal to 28,2 with significance value 0.000 (p <0,01). The result showed that there was very significant increase QoL score before and after the intervention. This means that relaxation with dhikr can improve QoL among women victims of landslide disaster.
